In Delaware, music is embedded in the state. Like a book each artists in a chapter. This is the story of 5th Chill Productions. Born on the streets of Wilmington, DE his road would be a rough one. Living in the hood was a testy experience for young Chill especially after his mother’s medical condition. After Chill found himself raising himself at the age 12 years old, to keep his head together he turned to hip hop. Listening to The Beastie Boys & KRS.1, helped craft Chill''s love for the original rap game. Chill had a unique style which blended his east coast swag with a touch of mid west, as far as the west coast flavor could be picked out of his originality, and realization of surviving city life. Universal J is still used as a figurative manner of Chill''s style. From start up squads Double Trouble with Mc Skees, to later added addition Mc Wise, the three formed Roots of Roughness. Chill''s skills, and dedication was embedded early. 5th Chill Productions currently exist in tune channeling and staying focused on knowledge and music the whole love of the art from struggle. Chill started producing and founded 5th Chill Productions in 1999. Chill retired now the mic and is currently producing, but all and likely to bless the mic in the near. 5th Chill is and forever will be a pioneer of Delaware hip hop.
