Benjamin Keith Bachman has been playing music for almost ten years. His influences vary and it is reflected in his playing and song writing. He has traveled and lived in many places on the east coast. He loves hearing other people play their songs and loves to share his own work. Anywhere he goes, he tries to keep a guitar close by just in case a random jam session breaks out.
He finds his inspiration in the places he goes and the people that he meets. He also finds inspiration in the human spirit and the broad expanse of the human mind. He hopes that you enjoy all that you experience in sight and sound while visiting this site.
Benjamin Keith Bachman was born in Scranton, Pa. in March of 1983. He moved around Pennsylvania with his mother and brother until Benjamin turned 5. Then, in 1988, his family moved to South Carolina. It was there in the Carolina sun that Benjamin would grow until the age of 16. Around 1999, he moved back to Pennsylvania with his father to finish out high school.
It was in Lancaster, Pennsylvania that Benjamin would get his first serious guitar, a Fender, American made, Stratocaster. It was the seed that started Benjamin on a melancholy path of musicianship. Unfortunately, difficulties focusing in those early years kept him from dedicating his full attention to music.
After graduating from high school and five years of dead end jobs, soul searching, and hard lessons, Benjamin returned to the one thing that had stayed with him through it all. He returned to the music. What you hear now is the sum of 25 years of life woven into a colorful fabric with musical influences ranging from Rock, Punk, Folk, Jazz, Alternative, Classical, Metal, and Blues.
