Bill Wright is a talented singer song writer multi instrumentalist from north east Washington state. He has spent many years playing around the north west in a number of well known bands. Now retired from performing professionally, Bill and his wife NeNa raise American Miniature horses and Border Collies on their farm in Arden Washington. In an attempt to leave behind some evidence of his efforts Bill now focuses on recording some of the many songs he has written through the years. All recording and mastering are done at his home studio "Bad Apple Records" located right on the farm.
For the Pot Licker project Bill brought in some great musisians he has played with through the years as well as some very talented new friends. The twelve all original songs chosen for this CD make up of a wonderful collection covering a wide range of country, folk, cajun and honky tonk styles. The music has a purity to it that is so refreshing in today''s over produced music. The title song Pot Licker is a testament to Bills life long love for dogs. It is sure to be a favorite of dog loves everywhere. This CD is a collection of well written songs that could only be accomplished by some one with years of artistic experience. It will have you thinking "Finally some real music again".
