The song “Impassioned” was the first piece I composed after the completion of the album “Songs For My Funeral”. I had originally planned on making this track the first one on the upcoming CD but after writing all of the music I decided that this one didn’t fit with most of the others. I recorded the first track last week at my house, and was so happy with the sound of the guitar that I decided to release it “as is” with no edits. A couple of days before that I had recorded the song on my back porch so I decided to include that version. When in the presence of nature I feel very much at peace and this was my attempt to convey that to you.
