After a short stint in Toronto with an up and coming band, Michael James returns home to find himself alone. Locked in his basement with nothing but his gear, Michael James spent the next year recording what was to become his eagerly awaited debut "Take me to the hospital" set for release March 2009.
After completing the album and forming his own band, MJ recorded 6 more tracks and a full HD music video. The fires were lit an the table set for The Michael James Band.
