As a former front man for an alternative rock band in college that had interest from some record companies, I had an epiphany at the age of 25, making Jesus Christ my Lord and took my rock mentality to a different genre. At the age of 30, I recorded this independent contemporary Christian rock CD. The songs were motivated by scriptural verses and personal life experiences.
Not saying that my music is identical to bands like Casting Crowns or Third Day, but those are my favorite bands today, and those bands have the most influence on my music. This CD is most closely related to those type of Contemporary Christian Rock bands with a few ballads intertwined within.
