Shelina is a singer, songwriter, choreographer and producer born in the Dominican Republic. This Dominican Diva just released her sassy new single “Vivir Sin Tu Amor" which is charting #3 Top International Breakout song in the Dance Crossover Charts.
A songwriter and choreographer with flavor, style, charisma and an infectious energy which captures an audience visually, as well as with her powerhouse vocals.
Shelina released her Tropical/Dance album , "No Te Aguanto Una Mas" in 2008 on Heavy Records, wich she co-produced with world famous producer Pete Masitti. (Pete has worked with Olga Tanon, Shakira, Julio Iglesias Jr. and many others)
"No Te Aguanto Una Mas" received the Premio Estrella award for "Best Salsa song of 2007" and Shelina performed "No te Aguanto Una Mas" at the 2008 Premio Estrella awards held at the Knight Center in Miami".
Shelina was the only Latin artist invited to perform at the Billboard Dance Music Conference in Las Vegas in 2006 and The Winter Music Conference 2007 in Miami where she performed at Halo Lounge, Twist and Score.
Shelina has opened shows for world renowned artists like; Fanky Negron, Eddie Santiago, Kool & the Gang and many others.
Shelina has performed on the Telemundo and Coca-Cola Stages at Calle Ocho, Fort Lauderdale''s Pridefest, and Palm Beach Pridefest three years in a row.
Shelina has been performing all over the United States, South America and Central America creating a following of both Spanish and English speaking fans.
"Latino Boys Magazine" is coming out with a feature on Shelina in April 2009 and she was the feature cover article in Phoenix''s "Flavaz" magazine with an in depth article and interview.
