The album is a live documentary about the tours the ContempArabic Jazz Ensemble of Stephan Athanas did in 2002 an 2003 in Egypte, Tunisia, Greece, France, Czech Republic and France. The music is partially based on Tunisian Nuba – Music which roots go back to the 14th Century. The breathtaking voice of Samiha Ben Said makes this music a pleasure to listen to, while it is based on a intellectual process of bringing jazz and Arab music together.
