REBELDEVIL is a band formed by italian metal shredder Kappa, guitarist of the legendary italian metal band, Strana Officina, which defined the early hard rock sound in Italy.
The concept behind Rebeldevil is to give metal music a southern rock/bluesy influence, which are the main caracteristics of Kappa''s guitar style.
To complete Rebeldevil''s line-up, Kappa was in need of some experienced/no compromise companions, musicians who could handle the sound and attitude of a life in rock n roll.
With this in mind Kappa got in touch with longime friend GHell Perotti, singer from famous metal thrashers Extrema, who soon lent his powerful and melodic vocal lines to the project.
The two then contacted Demonoid Lera, a session drummer who recorded and toured for years, first with Addiction Crew, and lately with the european act Exilia. The line-up was then complited with the addiction of bassplayer Ale Paolucci, bassist from historic, cult hardcore band RawPower.
Rebeldevil''s monicker was the perfect name for a band full of metal and southern rock influences, who define the concept of a new power metal sound, with aggressive melodies, guitar solos and groovy driving songs.
The four rebels signed for u.k label Molten Metal Productions on june ''08, the debut album titled "Against you" is released on october 15th across Europe and January 22nd ''09 across U.s.a.
At the same time drummer Cris Dalla Pellegrina (ex Extrema, Negrita) join Rebeldevil, after Demonoid Lera puts his first priority to Exilia, his first band.
Rebeldevil starts the promotion of debut album with an italian winter club tour, and following its first european tour.
