Seasick was born Chris Scott in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1978. He was raised in Convent , La. until the age of 12. The he moved to Gonzales, La. Seasick has been rapping since the age of 9, but he became serious about persuing it as a career at 14. At 18 he signed a deal with Assault & Battery Records. Although he was featured on several local releases, he still failed to reach mainstream success. In October 2005, Seasick moved to Virginia and he continues to create music indepenently today. He is a hip-hop artist and producer, he also writes R&B but creating quality music is his goal.
