Wood Da 4runner known as Woody. Grew up in the streets, a broken home and no parents to supervise him. At the tender age of 6 he began to run numbers for his own father and people in the neighborhood. Many days he experienced going hungry and going to bed with hunger pains. He ran away from home at the age of 8 and again at the age of 11 to Coney Island. There some of his brothers resided and was heavy into selling drugs. As a result he started selling weed at the age of 11. By the age of 17 he began to sell crack and heroin. For the first time in his life he experienced prosperity (so he thought) nice cars, jewels, expensive clothing and the things that come along with that lifestyle. But deep down inside he had no peace and would try to suppress the conviction he was feeling. He continued on with that lifestyle regardless of the repercussions. At the age of 21 he was set up in a drug bust facing at least 12 yrs of mandatory charges which included drugs and kidnapping. Miraculously God began to deal with him but he told God he did not want to come to him in jail because he wanted to know that if he served God it would be from the heart and not just as an escape goat. In spite of his ignorance God delivered him from that drug case but he continued back in the same lifestyle until a year later he got busted for drugs twice in one week. By this time he knew that things weren''t right and his heart began to weigh down heavy upon him and he spoke to God saying "God I know you’re calling me but it''s hard for me to serve you, help me with this case." In spite of his ignorance he took both drug cases to trial and God delivered him once again but he still returned to the same lifestyle. Like a pig returns to wallowing in the mud. Not too long after he began to feel dissatisfied with his lifestyle, God spoke to him and began to give him purpose, vision and showed him through godly principles and people how to be forgiven of his sins and how to yield his life to Christ. He accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior and since then has never looked back and continues to preach the good news of salvation, deliverance and change through various avenues. In his own words he states: "Life means nothing to me and is not worth living without Jesus and the new and better way of living, and this way of living is the message that I convey to all people through my music." His music conveys the truth that you can overcome every situation, trial, test and what God did for him he will do for you. "IT''S NEVER TOO LATE.... TO MAKE A CHANGE AS LONG AS YOU STILL HAVE BREATH!"
