March 9th, 2002 - New York City. Kory and Meggin just spent 4 days on the upper east coast going to 3 Tesla shows in a row. They''re getting ready to fly back home. The plane is delayed...
After witnessing the aftermath at the World Trade Center, and hanging with the Tesla boys for 4 days, Kory says "Babe, life is short. I''ve been ''fiddling'' with music my whole life, but I don''t want to die with regrets. You wanted to marry a rock star, and I don''t want you to have regrets either. Besides, I can do this."
Meg looked up and said "Do it".
With those two very powerful words, things began to happen. The insurance agency was shut down. The house was sold. The dirt bike was sold (ouch!). Heart, time, and money were put into this first album you see here.
Although my songwriting was at it''s infancy during the making of this first ablum, I still think it''s a good freshman effort and I hope you like it! It''s from the heart.
Speaking of which, our single "We Know You''re Out There (A Message To Our Troops)" has been getting some serious attention around the country. Such that we''re being flown to Kentucky, Utah(3x), and Texas this year to perform the song. We''re also on the bill for a benefit Cruise.
The "KORY BRUNSON BAND" NEW ALBUM is expected out this year (2006). It will have a more Rock/Country sound.

*Some time spent with Jeffery Steele
*And MOST importantly, having CRAIG BENNINGTON and BILL LAUGHLIN in the band
...it will have better songwriting and a more mature sound. Although it is ALWAYS from the heart.
