Starting in the winter of 2002
I started writing instrumental pieces
inspired by the seasons.
Each tune was it''s own separate entity
and that''s how they were originally released.
The last one ''Autumn Chill'' was finished
in the fall of 2003.
For some reason in the summer of 2004
I thought it would be fun to somehow
hook them all together.
The rest of the tunes were written in 2005/2006.
''Barefoot in the Snow'' has a little bit of Django flavor to it. I''ve never been known to be a ''fast player'' but I get goin'' pretty good on this one. ;)
''Foolish Man'' is a quirky litte tune with some nice twists and a hook or two to boot.
''Guitaring My Life Away''- What can I say, there is guitar all over this one with a kind of spaghetti western bridge.
''Everybody Knows'' is kinda folky w/ some strong hooks and nice guitar flourishes.
''Whosong''s Waltz'' is dedicated/inspired by the restuarant I haved worked/played at for the past 11 years (as of July 2006)
''Helpless'' is a one of a kind lark. Just had the tape machine on and went for it.
''The Rope''- This is one of those tunes that kind of grows on you...I hope.
