I''m sitting in my basement in Denver, Colorado where we have created a recording studio for the purpose of bringing life back to the Denver music scene. (We''re not actually sure there was *ever* life in this scene, but whatever). The expectations seem to be so low around here that getting somebody to buy tickets to a local show is worse than pulling teeth. Besides, your best friend''s band plays free shows all the time and a show is a show, right?
We disagree. We think music and performance and creativity should inspire the soul, not add noise to the bar scene.
So we have determined to change things.
Kid Crimson, Patch Records, and several other outstanding musicians have joined together to invite culture and art into our city.
Kid Crimson''s album, "Random Drive," is the first release with Patch Records, but it is just one more piece of a movement to bring Denver into the national and global music scene.
