MP3 Paul Kearschner - Garage Band Revolution

Retro-Style Garage Band Rock, music the way it used to be made, nothing fancy just straight forward shit on a stick rock.

10 MP3 Songs
ROCK: 80''s Rock, ROCK: Classic Rock

Details:
To loosely quote Dr Evil, "The details into my background are quite inconsequential, and will serve no meaningful purpose to society." This is the second offering of regionally reknowned mad-man Paul Kearschner, aka Pkrock, and his 95% comedic attempt to re-take the airwaves. (This theme is a common one at band gigs and fans are in on the joke) The current status-quo of corporate approved rock and pop country is at best disturbing to Mr Kearschner. PK refuses to wear cowboy hats, cowboy boots, or big shiny belt buckles, which many say is what keeps him out of the mainstream of contemporary music. Others say its that the songs just aren''t commercial enough. Much to the chagrin of his critics, this has not slowed down the self-proclaimed "master of cheesey songs". PK was recently quoted in a local music & entertainment rag after a show stating, "This is straight up shit on a stick garage rock. No more, no less. It isn''t for the faint of heart, or the Achey-Breaky Heart types. And to put an exclamation point on that, my next cd is going to blow the lid off the whole set of cookware, ala Frank Zappa style satire." The ZZ Top cover of "I Need You Tonight", from their Eliminator album, marks the first cover tune to be included on any of PK''s offerings, including the old bootlegs. After investing additional dollars into his home studio, the quality of this cd is much improved over the first offering, Back in the Game, and should be an indicator of good things to come. Already at work on the third cd, tentatively titled "Trailer Park Tradgedies", with "Hoedown at the Trailer Park" the first tune from it completed and rumoured to be out on the internet, PK is steamrolling ahead, whether we like it or not.

The above was written by Raoul Duke, based on interviews about PKrock with Nate Neeley and Norman Snodgrass.

I think Joe Dirt sez it best, "you can''t have no in your heart. Lifes a garden, dig it. DANG"
