I started singing in kindergarten. Had record deal with Crazy Life Music in Germany (Mournblade). Played in zillion bands, most of which I was the lead singer.
One night this guy comes in, finds his wife with another guy, pulls a gun and is going to shoot her right then and there. So we kick up this wacky finger exercise music that makes no sense, and he gets so weirded out that he simply leaves. Probably saved her life. On the other hand, he could have shot us! You don''t think about things much sometimes until later, then you get the cold chill.
I wanted to do an album that was mine, all mine. So I played all the instruments on this CD. Did all the engineering. Mixdown and mastering. In the past, I tried running my studio as a profit-making venture, but -and this may come as a surprise to you -there are a lot of buttheads in music. A lot of people think they can sing or play, but can''t, and when the mix is played back, and they hear that they suck, sometimes they get mad. Especially when I tell them there is no ''de-suck'' knob on the mixing console.
