Lip Service is a rock band based out of Portland Oregon. We came together in a very organic way. The core of the band has been playing together since the late ''90s when Paul DeLano (Extended-range Bass) joined Rex Beard (Guitarist) in Yesterdaze Child. Paul and Rex had already performed and recorded with Keri Fletcher (Vocals) and called her immediately. Hard work and patience delivered Mark Drury (Drums) to us and we found a rare chemistry. Mark welds the band tightly together as he joins forces with Paul''s colossal bass playing! Driving the group forward by taking full advantage of his arsenal of eight-string basses. Rex''s roots-rock rhythm & blues guitar licks adds fuel to the fiery mix, while Keri''s soulful and adept voice weaves and soars though it all.
