Details:
Notes:
A jazz-rock recording that won critical acclaim in 1983 and drew a cult following to the Gregory James band. This recording is now being re-released. The quartet of electric and acoustic guitars, wind instruments, bass and drums rings melodies that emerge from fiery rock band Video Rouge that James started before this recording.

''Great moments...electric, acoustic and synthesized guitars are both strong and subtle...Bridges the gap between musical adventure and mass appeal...Four-and-a-half stars...'' Downbeat

''A first-rate electric guitar player.'' Variety

''High-energy polyrhythmic fusion...(to) pastoral impressionistic sketches. In both, James'' guitar lines are simple, direct, and melodic.'' Guitar Player
