The musical expedition of Jeremy Mude (Mesa Falls to Mephisto/Wings of Lamia/Dieverge/Torque), Tommy Wicker (Only Human), Brad Traina(Church band, represent) and The Jon: Strange Inventions is a Wichita Kansas based rock outfit that takes heavily from rock, blues, funk and jazz styles. The project began with the noble idea that a band could combine pop sensibilities with the depth of fusion, the energy of punk and the ethics of indie rock while slathering on a heapin helpin of 70s guitar gristle. As you all know, working with gristle is very messy and is often no longer the preferred method, though still favored amongst the poor, destitute and the pureist.
The "Prototypes" E.P. was recorded in December of 2008 when the group consisted only of Jeremy(Guitar, bass and vocals) and drummer Jake Larson. This will be a limited edition release proceeded by a full L.P. release in winter of 2009(hint hint Collector''s item....).
