As natives of Cincinnati, OH, Troy Culbreth, Isaiah Freeman IV, Fred James V, Lamont Hill, and Kenny West came together in mid-July 2004 and debut just one year later in the summer of 2005 as they quickly began creating an unusual buzz across the Midwest and Southern gospel music arenas. Throughout their musical experiences they have worked with and/or shared the stage with such artists as Ricky Dillard, Donald Lawrence, Karen Clark-Sheard, Stephen Hurd, Melonie Daniels, Darwin Hobbs and Rodney Posey, just to name a few. They were featured on Min. Jonathan Dunn’s Live DVD Recording, entitled, “Get In The Flow” and can be heard on Tyscot/Liaison Recording Artist, Darwin Hobbs'' album entitled, Free.
The men of Called II Worship bring their very versatile praise& worship oriented sound to accommodate the varying musical tastes of both young and old. By merging elements of gospel, jazz, blues, contemporary Christian with neo-soul, alternative and R&B, they have developed a distinctive sound, which is rapidly growing in popularity.
