Being ministry minded, Kevin “pastored” the music ministry by visiting members/staff in the hospital during sickness/injury, births, attended home going services of family members/relatives (including a few out of town), attended court hearings, shared in happy occasions, recognized birthdays and anniversaries, and counseled. He oversaw a staff of up to nine musicians/sound ministry and choirs numbering 250-300 members. An additional administrative accomplishment was the creation of a music ministry database where the ministry received songs, song lists, schedules, lyrics, & other pertinent information via email.
A special highlight was the minister of music recognition nigh, where he honored people in the church for the support of the music ministry, (including choirs & staff), & honored persons no longer serving due to health issues.
