Boy Band Beatdown is a follow-up single to Atomic Shop’s 2008 self-titled album. The song is a biting commentary on lame pre-fabricated pop music groups and was written by Chicago songwriter John Kuczaj.
This song is written from the perspective of someone who cannot stand pre-packaged, marketing-driven musical acts that have limited (if any) real talent. It is that person''s reaction upon seeing yet another corporately created music group performing mediocre songs that they had no involvement in writing.
