Glenn Eastman has been a worship leader since 1999 and has been writing and performing music for nearly 20 years now. In 2002, he helped co-found East River Fellowship in Hillsboro, OR where he currently serves as worship leader.
His writing style is contemporary worship that strives to touch the heart of God. His musical influences are Matt Redman, Tim Hughes, Tommy Walker, Lincoln Brewster, Darrell Evans, Israel Houghton and more.
This debut album, "Make Us One", represents the first of many worship albums that will come out of East River Fellowship. The mission of the worship ministry at East River is to first and foremost, please the Father, and then to provide the Church access to fresh, new worship for use within their own congregations. All chord charts and lyrics are freely downloadable from the church''s website.
The track, "River Of Your Spirit", comes from Ezekiel 47 -- the scripture that serves as the foundation of the "East River" Fellowship name. The title track, "Make Us One", comes from our heart to serve together across denominational ''boundaries'' or other perceived walls. We are all the body of Christ and our prayer is that He would Make Us One!
