This new worship CD, "Hungry For You", reflects the journey that Glenn has been on over the past year and a half. Sometimes selfish choices lead us to wander in the desert as a result of disobedience -- much like the Israelites in the Old Testament. But God is patient to teach us, like the loving Father He is, as we learn to be still and listen to His voice.
God wants to teach us to be like His son, Jesus. That is a hard lesson to learn but is one full of blessing if we choose to embrace it and become more like our Savior. That starts by removing the "voices" in our lives that tell us it''s a waste of time to become like Jesus...voices like television, movies, our culture, the ''American Dream'', or anything else that makes us buy into the lie of chasing happiness rather than holiness.
"This day I pray, ''Make me more like Jesus'' -- that my hear will truly only beat for You. Make me hungry for You, Lord! Let this world I''ve let pollute me steal my appetite no more." Glenn''s prayer is that these words from the title track "Make Me Hungry For You" will become an anthem for the Church in America to come back to where God wants us to be!
