Put simply, the concept of this Oceanus CD has to do with California seaside towns -- from Pismo Beach on the Central Coast to Venice Beach west of the city of Los Angeles, as well as the city of Avalon on Catalina Island twenty-six miles off the coast of Southern California. Also included is a musical depiction of an excursion boat trip to Avalon. The CD concludes with a choral piece inspired by the Pacific Ocean itself.
