While there is no shortage of talented musicians in south county, there certainly is a shortage of places for them to earn a paycheck with their music. With the recently-announced closing of the Macano Inn in Housatonic, and the cessation of live music programming at the Sip of Seattle in Gt. Barrington, the circuit available to the area''s working musicians has been substantially reduced.
