Being at Put-in-Bay on a hot summer day is a wonderful way to pass time. You hear music in the air from one of the many popular bars in the area; The Boathouse, Frostys, The Beer Barrel, and a host of other drink & drown places that wait for our arrival, and our return. The air is filled with the tempting smell of chicken being roasted over a pit of hot coals at the nearby, Roundhouse, an Island favorite, and a favorite of mine. Meanwhile, the music of Mike "Mad Dog" Adams, or other Island musicians fills the air as girls in bikinis stroll by the storefronts tempting us with their charms...."there just ain''t nothin'' better than a night at Put n'' Bay"!
