Noah Collins is pure, Americana. And at 24 years old, his reputation as one of the region’s hottest up and coming independent folk artists is growing like wildfire. Collins is a Chattanooga native. With coarse, heart-filled vocals comparable to Manchester-born musician David Gray and American songwriter Jackson Browne, Collins is a regular at regional venues like Decatur’s Eddie’s Attic, Chattanooga’s Rhythm and Brews, Nashville’s Bluebird Café. During a 24 month stay in the Dominican Republic, living in the “campos,” Collins developed his percussive finger picking style. Americana-UK gave his debut album “Heart on a Line” 7 of 10 stars after its release in 2008. “I never planned on becoming a songwriter,” he recalls, “but it came naturally.” Noah Collins is a member of The Americana Music Association.
