Hott Mess is the brainchild of Shayna Ross and Kevin Roentgen.
It came together in 2008 in a tiny one-car garage transformed into a recording studio in the back of Kevin''s Hollywood duplex. Through talking about each others shared and individual music loves (and guilty pleasures eg. the movie "Fame", early 80''s disco/wave, etc), the duo began to piece together the songs that would end up being the Hott Mess EP, plus an entire album (coming soon).
Along with comrade, Noah Shain, they continued the process at Shain''s White Buffalo Studio.
