As a combined force, the Prairie brothers have been playing together for years. Adam rocketed out of his mother''s womb wielding a beautiful sunburst finish Telecaster and slammed a power chord that caused malfunctions in all of the surrounding hospital appliances. He patiently waited for three years until Chris sprung forth in a similar display of pomp and glory, except he wielded mighty tree trunks as drum sticks and with these, he thundered mighty beats on the thighs of his exhausted mother.
Soon the two had outgrown the Midwest''s quiet charm and decided to leave their geographical namesake behind in search of similarly epic band mates and a place that could contain their rock.
Using drum sticks as planks and guitar strings as twine the brothers rafted down the mighty Mississippi, ultimately landing in Memphis, Tennessee. They happened upon Cooper Smith dazzling onlookers with his ability to shred both space and time using his radioactive guitar riffs and his lightning-rod guitar. Chris and Adam asked Cooper if he wanted to join their band and he agreed, so the three set off through space and time.
A few months later our heroes found themselves smoke jumping somewhere in the foothills of Colorado. Deep in the woods they found bassist Geoff Brown, fighting a forest fire with his bare hands while, alternately leading animals to safety with his ground-shaking bass. Together the four quickly snuffed out the blaze with the combined force of their music.
Time travel had become hard and inconsistent with four people and so the band swore it off when they landed on Bainbridge Island and struck upon Christina Ellis levitating in the Lotus position with a keyboard in her lap and a trumpet floating at her side. Using the keys for lift and trumpet for propulsion Christina flew them all five over the sound where they settled in Seattle, and together they are... The Hoot Hoots.
