BREEZE OF GOSPEL is indeed one of Denmark’s most sought after gospel bands. This quartet has over the last couple of years played more concerts than any other Danish gospel act.
The natural centre of BREEZE OF GOSPEL is the singer Miriam Jul Rasmussen. Her voice, dynamics and charisma put into interaction with the three musicians results in a swinging gospel sound for all ages to enjoy. The keyboard player Peter Kofoed is not only playing great stuff on this album but he is also featured on two songs as an exciting vocalist.

Featured guest soloist on the CD is the American super-singer Bob Bailey, a former Grammy nominee in the category ‘Best Male Gospel Performance’. Also the internationally well known Danish saxophone player Benjamin Koppel is an inspiring musical contributor to this CD.
The CD contains a number of gospel classics (“Oh, Happy Day”, “Amazing Grace”, “Precious Lord, Take My Hand” etc.) as well as new versions of Bob Dylan’s “Gotta Serve Somebody” and Carol King’s “You’ve Got A Friend”. And a couple of new songs by Miriam Jul Rasmussen.
