Currently Principal Horn of the Terre Haute Symphony, 2nd horn with the Sinfonia da Camera in Champaign, IL, and a member of the Danville Symphony, Brian is also a member of Keith Brian''s Touring New Sousa Band, with which he has toured 17 states. Brian is a very busy freelance hornist in the Indianapolis region, and has performed with the Indianapolis Symphony, Indianapolis Opera, the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, Lafayette Symphony, the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra, and various other ensembles. A champion of new music, over the past 6 years Brian has commissioned 12 new works featuring the horn, including one that premiered at the 2000 IHS Beijing International Horn Festival, and another premiered at the 2003 IHS International Symposium in Bloomington, IN. In the summers of 2001-04 Dr. Kilp has presented recital performances and clinics at Conservatories in Beijing, Tianjin, and Shenyang, China, Thailand, and Singapore, and in 2002 was a recitalist at the 5th International Foreign Music Cultural Exchange Festival in Shenyang, where he was named Visiting Guest Professor of the Shenyang and Dalian Conservatories.

Brian is currently Associate Professor of Music tIndiana State University. In June 2002, Dr. Kilp was appointed Visiting Guest Professor of Horn at the Shenyang Conservatory of Music in Shenyang, Liaoning University in 1998 and is currently Province, P.R. China., and is on the Faculty and Principal Horn of the Classical Music Festival Orchestra in Eisenstadt, Austria, from since 2000.

His first CD has just been released entitled: Vox Corno with pianist Martha Krasnican.

Ms. Martha Krasnican, pianist, a native of Bethesda, Maryland, received both her Bachelor''s and Master''s degrees in Piano Performance from the Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester. While there, she studied with Brooks Smith, Barry Snyder and Frank Glazer, and has also worked with John Wustman of the University of Illinois and Menahem Pressler of the Beaux Arts Trio. Currently she supervises the accompanying program at Indiana State University. Ms. Krasnican regularly performs with faculty and guest recitalists and for guest master classes. Her most recent performances include recitals with cellist Carter Enyeart of the University of Missouri at Kansas City, flautist Tadeu Coelho of the University of Iowa, trombonist Robert Reifsnyder of Chicago, and violinist Jorge Avila, winner of the 2001 Mu Phi Epsilon International Competition. She has also performed as a soloist with the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra in a concerto written for her by her husband, Daniel Powers.
