Steve Bruce was born in Pensacola, Florida. He says thanks to two great parents, he continues to reap the benefits of a wonderful childhood. He started playing golf at age 13. He started taking piano lessons at age 17. He liked music and started practicing eight hours a day. Within a couple years, he began teaching music lessons for his income. In his twenties, he performed cover songs at restaurants, weddings, and parties. He then began writing original songs and hired record producers to record them. Then he produced an elaborate live concert titled "Heroes in Our World". He hired professional prop designers, costume designers, and purchased equipment and lighting systems. Then he performed 50 concerts to over 15,000 kids in San Diego. During the concerts, he talked with the audiences aged 5 – 14 about suffering children on planet earth. He found kids and young people are profoundly interested in the fate of other children. He also found they are open-minded and want to make a positive difference in the lives of impoverished children. Importunely at that time in the 1990’s, Mr. Bruce did not have a plan as to how young people could team up. He took a little break. He played some golf for a year. In 1999, he won a Club Championship in Coronado scoring a 72 – 70 and winning by three strokes. Although golf is a good game, Mr. Bruce decided to go back into the music business and work it more diligently than ever. In July 2006, he released his debut CD HEROES. He says, "Ask any child or young person how often world leaders should meet regarding the fate of children on planet earth and virtually every child will tell you they should meet every year!" He now has a plan to empower young people around the globe to team up with their amazing voices, their patronizing pull, and their influential will in calling for an ANNUAL WORLD SUMMIT FOR CHILDREN.
Mr. Bruce is seeking investors and partners to bring this universal idea to the world.
