Hi everybody, yes the CD is finally finished!!! But you must understand that going into this project I had no clue what I was doing, and am still learning. Ok heres how it all came about. I bought a Roland 8 track digital recorder and decided to make a CD. It took me over three years to figure out how to run the machine along with many mistakes. This whole project was done at home in a very awkward manner. I wrote the songs and music and recorded all my parts. Then I had all the other musicians come over one at a time to record all their parts. No two musicians met each other during these recordings. All the musicians were absolutely great and worked very hard to make sure I got what I was looking for and I thank each one of them very much.

About the songs:

Flowers Disappear: was written one fall day as I looked out my window. All of the events that I mention actually happened. Mother: was the last song written for the CD. Joan Goss was an awesome woman and truly an angel.
Let me hear you say: This is a typical love song that uses lots of Harmonies. One person commented that it sounds like a Beatles song. I''ll take that as a compliment since I think they are the greatest band ever. Mia: This is my hand at a lullaby for my good friends daughter Mia, Gordy out! I''m leaving today: Not a love song self explanatory. Short song: This IS the shortest song in the world. Susan Marie: I wrote this for my wife over 16 years ago. Half my life: I wrote this song for a lot of different people including myself. Ugly Girl: Not the song I want to be remembered by but if it sells a million copies I won''t bitch. P.S. Has nothing to do with me. Sticky sweet love song "Hardshine": I wrote this because a bartender said she could sing and wanted to be on the CD. I heard her voice and wrote a duet, what else but a sticky sweet love song. These are my stories and I''m sticking to them...

Thanks to the following people who made this possible.

Special thanks to my wife Susan, without her support none of this would have been possible. Ricky Simpson for teaching me my first three guitar chords. Cousin Gary for teaching me how to finger pick. My good friend Harold Walden, who''s loaned me his drum Kat for about four years, still got it!! My brother Bob for helping me with my hard drives etc. Jim Kelly for absolutely no reason at all. Obie ( HFL) thanks for the line "Hardshine". Reese Henry for words of wisdom " Ugly girl song". Matt Fortier at Eccentric Production for all of his advice on mixing and mastering.

And a special thanks to all the musicians that helped me with this project:

Saundra Bastarache: Vocals on sticky sweet love song " Hardshine"
Bob Conroy: Rhythm and lead guitar
Bob Desmond: Lead, Rhythm, and Bass Guitar
Marc Rines: Bass Guitar
Bob Soar: Drums

No thanks to the losers that screwed me over the years.
