Although young, Elizabeth Borowsky has achieved international recognition as an outstanding artist of her generation. She has performed concerts and recitals—some of which were nationally or internationally broadcast on TV or radio—in major concert halls in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East; taken part in prestigious music festivals; received numerous awards and prizes, and recorded several CDs of solo and chamber music works for ICRecords. In October 2004 (as a recipient of the Erick Friedman Prize for Outstanding Young Musicians) she performed at Carnegie Hall. She has been mentored by renowned pianists and teachers. In the Spring of 2004, Ms. Borowsky was the recipient of a scholarship from the Maryland International Education Association and studied with Yonty Solomon at Trinity College of Music in London. In March 2005, Elizabeth graduated summa cum laude from Towson University (University of Maryland) with a Bachelor''s of Music degree, having studied under the guidance of Reynaldo Reyes. Together with her Mother, she was invited to perform and give master-classes in Asia (Korea, Japan, Vietnam) in March-April 2005. Their concert at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music was nationally televised. Currently, Ms. Borowsky is an Associate Instructor in Piano at Indiana University, where she is pursuing graduate studies in piano under the renowned pianist Arnaldo Cohen.
