Bowman & Brown joined up in the fall of 2003, having met through a mutual friend in the music business. They soon discovered that they had similar musical interests and a rich harmony which reminded their friends of “Brewer & Shipley”. Having different and complimentary talents the duo soon formed their own independent record label, BB Records, and their independent publishing company, Brownsky Music. After six grueling months the duo released their debut album “Road Trip”, a folk rock blend of storytelling with thought inspiring messages aimed at a wide demographic audience. The duo was soon traveling the Midwest performing their music to widely varying audiences. In the winter of 2005 the duo went back into their studio and recorded this follow up album, “Thinkin’ 4 U”. This retro groove includes 11 cuts that combine strong songwriting with a subtle current anti-establishment, political theme that will bring you back to the late 60’s and early 70’s when that genre dominated the airwaves. The duo will be back on the road soon to inspire all you baby boomers to get out and make a difference in the world. Apathy is out and advocacy for change is in. Get on the bandwagon!
