Mixing in the diverse influences and experiences all the members bring to the table, Back Alley Blues Band has a style it can call its own. Funky, rockin'' blues are the sounds you will find here, mixed with a dash of Rockabilly and Americana stylings to boot. Not that the band couldn''t play a traditional blues style, but why sound like everybody else?
There is a wide range of styles on display here, from the ''60s Texas-style opener of "My Baby Caught The Train", the swamp-style ballad "Even Angels Get The Blues", the Bo Diddley inspired "Queen Of Hearts", the rockabilly rave-up "Oh Well", to acoustic flavored tunes like "Chihuahua Blues" and the traditional "Mississippi Blues".
