MP3 Barn Dawgs - Off The Leash

High energy, hard edge, rock and roll with a classic rock metal edge.

7 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Hard Rock, ROCK: Classic Rock

Details:
The Barn Dawgs started life in 2003 as the brain step-child of Vince Coney, lead guitar. Vince played in several popular bands in the San Francisco Bay area in the early 80''s. Vince was joined by lead singer, Al Stanger. Al sang in the family car since age 3 and later graduated to singing in the shower before reaching out for a microphone. Lots of changes happened to Vince and Al before the current line up came together.

Drummer Vern Gragg is a veteran of the 80''s LA music scene after starting out in Modesto, CA. He''s been part of several central valley band before landing at Lama Studios Stockton.

Bassisst Jim Burr is the illegimate great-great-great grandchild of Aaron Burr by common law marriage. Jim has been part of several bands in Stockton, CA. Jim holds down the bottom end and has dabbled in recording and multimedia presentations.

Guitarist Steve McEwen was the last addition. Steve''s first band was a metal band during the late 80''s. The last version of that band included drummer Vern Gragg. The two hooked up when a CD was put together of the former band.

The Barn Dawgs play high energy, heavy, classic rock style originals. Even the slow songs have attitude. "Live, the band is loud, in your face, turn it up style of rock and roll. Their attitude is captured in the recordings." Varnet Dunleavy - TS Reporter From the heavy riff of ''Queen of Nothing'' until the end of ''Goodnight'', the "Off The Leash" CD will please young and old rockers.
