Details:
B.S.G. was not form like the average rap group; rapping, freestyling, at a talent show. None of that! This organization was formed in the middle of a gang fight Souljah had gotten himself into in 1995 on the streets of Belle Glade. filmilar with one another but far from friends Black and Souljah. The lil'' homie rolling with Souljah had backed down and Souljah was in some shit!!! Black who remembered Souljah from hanging with some guys he was cool with was at the scene also. Souljah out of nowhere turned to Black and said " Cuz, you don''t really know me but this other nigga done left me hangin'', if you keep all them other niggaz out of the fight I got my man" Black''s reply was " I Don''t Know you like that fool" he thought about it for a minute and just being the type who loved action he said " You better CRRAAASHH Too!!!" That was it because they CRRAAASHed and gave the other fools the business until the laws showed up!!! After that night they were to never seperate again, even through distance these two remained "Close but Far".
As the bond grew Souljah and Black began to learn things about one another for instance, Black was an animal when it came to freestyling, and Souljah is a revolutionary militant lyricsis. Souljah had been around music all of his life. His mother went to college singing in the choir, both his uncles were talented musicians who played the keyboard and any other instrument they got their hands on. They went on to do production one of them specilized in Gospel productions, and the other hip- hop and R & B.
Souljah who was a hustler by nature brought up the idea that "If we were to release an album and could sell uhh say 10,000 maybe 100,000 even at $6 per cd that''s $600,000." Nuff Said!!! So they became Black Souljaz easy enough, plus they was souljahz, street souljahz, black street souljahz, it was perfect. The Black Souljahz went on to record "Mary Jane" their first single and still one of the underground most cherished songs around their way. That was followed up by "Terror Zone" a Florida anthem calling Florida a Terror Zone beware!! "Ride 4 Life" "Representin 9.6.", "See Me Now, See Me Later", and "Criminal Mind". During this time Souljah was going through a lot of problems at home with his mom, and fights with his step dad so he was force to move to W. Palm Beach and even farther to Tallahassee in the following year. Souljah promised himself a better life in Tallahassee and provided it. During the transition He and Black remained tight and the chemistry grew as other people began to get involved and the Black Souljahz grew and grew into the Black Souljah Gang. By 1999, they were back writing and recording in the studio going back and forth to W. Palm Beach. They recorded "Close but far", "Hustler", "Polish da Crown", and "Kingpin" As more of the pieces started comming together things started to run more and more smoother as they neared the completion of their first Album Hustler''s Mentality in 2000.
In 2001, the album was finished and released in Leon and Palm Beach County. In 2002, the duo jump started their entertainment label Urban Legend Entertainment, which was in full swing by 2003. In 2004, they began work on their sophmore release "Free Money" that was brought to the streets that summer. Free Money was literally an underground classic, a album for anyone who understands the struggles of the streets, with hits like "Free Money"," EASE UP OFF ME HO""Missin Moma" & "Souljah". "Free Money" was distrubuted in Palm Beach and Leon County, Tampa, https://www.tradebit.comersberg, Orlando, Atlanta and some parts of Alabama. Continuing to spread the name. Around the same time controversy began to arise with the release of the artist T.I. "Urban Legend" Album. Now rumors were begining to spread that the Urban Legend named was stolen from T.I. who they had the opportunity to do a performance with 2 years prior for the "I''m Serious" album. This was a powerful blow issued to Black Souljahz and Urban Legend Entertainment as a whole. What to do but let the truth be known to the public. That is exacly what the Black Souljah Gang did in 2005, on the mix-tape known as "Hostile Takeover (da real URBAN LEGEND)". The release of "Hostile Takeover" help take the popularity surrounding the B.S.G. to another level. The public was shocked to see an underground group go head-up with an industry giant and they loved every minute of it. With hits like "U Easy" "BITCH GONE SEE" & "POLISH THE CROWN 2". This was the album that brought them all the way out there and right now they are "OUT CH...EER!!!". The latest release by the B.S.G. Committee and the name says it all. They are all the way "OUT CH...EER!!!" now and out with vengence ready to show and prove to the world the true definition of Black Souljah in Every line and with names like "Fuck Yall", "U Don''t Like Me? Maybe I Don''t Give a Fuck", "Fuck Sumthin", "Fuck U Lookin At ME 4" & "Demons N ME" you should know that they are all the way "OUT CH...EER!!!" this time.
