This soul food is served on a variety of hot plates (tracks) from a variety of producers. One of the singles from the album, “American Idol,” is already getting radio play from as far away as Alabama. CD number one, “Nothing But The Truth,” was definitely a stepping stone for the group. Blood Bought has taken it up another notch and this new project is the elevator. God has truly annointed this group to do what they do. BBPIF ministers at prisons, jails, churches, project street corners and beyond. The group has found a way to interweave street credibility and Godly teachings all into this vehicle of rap. Shakedown: The Truth Unveiled is a wild ride---Come ride with us.
For those of you that are looking for "Real Deal" gospel rap, you need not look any further. This CD is for real! BBPIF could not have done this alone. God has guided them and a lot of others have chipped in to make this project what it is. There are featured artist such as "Gaudscent" from The Goodside (another very annointed group), Kisha Patterson, and Raymond "Diggaman" Thornton. Some of the soundtracks were made right in the BBPIF lab and others came from guest producers. When the album was reviewed by one of BBPIF''s customers, he could not give a "favorite" song, because he was loving the entire album. Some marvel over the clarity of the lyrics in conjuction with such heavy beats. Others love the fact that there are 15 songs on the CD. There isn''t any "fluff," just 15 annointed songs. The CD is truly a blessing to have and I encourage you to make this purchase. You might want to get two, because this is the typ of CD that you like to let others hear. However, if you loan it out you might not get it back (I have heard of this happening a lot).
