Pyromantic, a collaboration album by Hyena (of the Northwest conglomerate Oldominion)and up and coming Hip-Hop artist BrokenKlutch.
Together they form the group Blood Tornado. Hyena takes care of most of the lyric aspect, while BrokenKlutch takes care of the production, but also contributes
verses through out the Ep.
Some are calling it a project as ambitious as Organized Konfusion and EL-P. The Ep is a voyage into the world of two artists who don''t see much optimism in
the way of today''s society. Hyena''s lyrics often reflect on topics of corrupt religion, guilt, sorrow, and the absence of hope. While BrokenKlutch focuses on peer rage of a not so distant future where machines are the masters and people(who aren''t apart of the big machine) are the slaves. Also BrokenKlutch takes a futuristic twist on yesterdays traditional Hip Hop.
With BrokenKlutch''s furious production to paint the background, Pyromantic is shaping up to be paranoid noise, for a ever increasing paranoid society. You may be taken somewhere you don''t necessarily want to go when you put this Ep in your system. But that is a risk any listener should consider an exciting one to take.
