Burgundy started out with their first release as a duo closer to styles of The Carpenters with mellow, dreamy moods. They have now evolved into a jazzy/funky band yet keep in line with their melodic lines and deeply driven lyrics. Although this second album gives you more the feeling of a "band" vibe, it stays true to their smooth style with a little taste of everything in each song. The sound is more in line with classic pop (think Stevie Wonder meets Chicago) and the vocals are even stronger than before!
