Details:
Bridge to what? That’s the question we all want answered. Fear of Bridges was born of 2 years and sixty four days locked in a bedroom It''s melodic intent is to surprise and never repeat itself. Lyrically it explores the fear that keeps us from human connections…the fear that keeps us always avoidin. Bridges, chasms and fractured lives, photographic images and fighting with wives. Fear of Bridges involves Karen’s fear of being late, and Bill’s fear of idolatry, and Chris’s fear of idle chatter and Jeff’s fear of everything else. Welcome to our world in song where the past freezes, the present is nowhere and the future is forgotten…where pictures shake, wives throw knives, towns are red, and dreams aren’t allowed.

" When we formed we wanted to create something that had enough consistency to be recognizable and attributable to Fear Of Bridges But with enough variation to let the songs breathe individually and the lyrics to define the flow of the pieces - we think we did".

One reviewer writes: "The song title, "Come Inside", seems inviting -- at least until Fear Of Bridges adds: "We''re on a roller coaster ride." With its chugging electric guitar part, "Come Inside"... may remind you of fine guitar bands from the past, such as The Feelies". " "We''ve Made It This Far" also has a little bit of a deceptive title. It reads like a celebration, but with its electronic percussion, acoustic guitar strums, and slow beat, it comes off truly sad; it sounds more like relief than anything else". " "The Menace In Us All" is slow, with an underlying vibe of paranoia running through it. It also has a nice, surf-y lead guitar solo". "Fear Of Bridges is one scary good band!"
