Chelsea Kinnard is a singer/songwriter, born on August 14, 1989 in New York City. Chelsea grew up just outside the city in Rockland County, New York. She is currently a student in Raleigh, North Carolina.
On Chelsea’s debut EP entitled, "Distracted by Mirrors,” Chelsea wrote all the songs, sang all the vocals, and played all the instruments on the album. Chelsea began playing guitar in her early teens. Soon she was composing her own songs. Chelsea is known for her reflective and contemplative lyrics and for how she pours her heart and soul into every song. She also studied drums with Frank Marino in Nyack, New York, and is an excellent drummer (perhaps you will be able to enjoy her percussive skills on a future album).
Chelsea’s musical influences are The Beatles, Nirvana, The Foo Fighters, The Pixies, Led Zeppelin, The Smashing Pumpkins, Weezer and Greenday.
