Hello WORLD!
My name is Chisseko and i would like to introduce to you my latest musical offering: JUNGLE JAZZ.
I was born in East Africa, but live and work partly in South Florida. So everything about me encompasses all that I have experienced in these two "jungles"; the African bush of my origins and this American concrete jungle that we live in.
Although I came from there, the rest of my band, ASANTE, is from various parts of the USA. Some of Florida''s greatest
musicians have , at one time or another, found themselves in my band; the likes of Randy Bersen, Bill Norman, Don Miller,
James Kidwell, Jeff Rubin and Robert Thomas, to name but a few.
ASANTE was formed largely by the people of the famous Musicians Exchange in Fort Lauderdale during the eighties and
the nineties, so the long list of all the musicians that have since played in the band reads like an alumni of all those great
''Exchange'' players of South Florida. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THEM ALL!!!.
