Details:
This CD was composed, recorded, and produced on a Roland Fantom S88 keyboard and a Yamaha baby grand piano.

1. Midnight (4:36)
This is a very passionate piece that took me a while to put together. It''s one of my favorites that contains a lot of saxophone and piano. (I almost used the title of this song as the title of my CD.) When you listen to this piece, picture yourself outside - at midnight - when everything is still and quiet.

2. The Good Life (2:45)
Upbeat and fun. This could easily be a theme for a new television series. Once you listen to THIS piece, you''ll have the tune stuck in your head for a while! It''s great driving music.

3. One Night In Cozumel (2:53)
One of my colleagues at work challenged me to create a Spanish sounding song, and this is what I came up with. Had no idea at the time that I would be including it on my first CD! This one''s for you, Eugene. Ole!

4. Cherish The Moment (2:46)
When you find the person you are truly in love with, you cherish many moments with them. The day you first met... your first date... your first kiss. This song captures the experience of a moment just like this.

5. Falcon''s Flight (4:38)
Inspired by my first trip to visit the Grand Canyon. If you''ve ever been there, you know how quiet and serene it is. Once in a while, you''ll see a bird take off from a nest within one of the canyon walls. When you hear this piece, picture early morning in the Grand Canyon, when the sun is just coming up. A lone falcon slowly awakes as the dawn approaches. He stands, looking out over the canyon. He spreads his wings, preparing to take flight. Then he lets out a majestic call, jumps out of the nest, soaring through the canyon along the Colorado River.

6. Once More (4:36)
Ever experienced a moment in life that you wish you could re-live again? Maybe a perfect evening with someone special. Placing first in a competition you really wanted to win. Or the best vacation you ever had. Think about a moment like that as you listen to this song.

7. Triumph (4:10)
Unlike any other song on this CD, it''s a very upbeat piece with a techno sound to it. I was going to add excerpts of famous triumphant speeches to it, but the audio detracted from the music so I chose not to do it. This piece captures the triumphant feeling of winning a race... coming in 1st place in a competition... being successful in whatever you do.

8. Solitude (5:20)
One of my earlier creations. I wrote this while it was raining heavily outside. I was alone, sitting by the window, listening to the sound of the rain early in the morning. Shortly after, when I started playing the piano, this piece was born.

9. Lost Love (2:57)
I''ve heard stories of many people who have broken up their relationships because they''ve fallen out of love. They go their separate ways, alone again. It''s heartbreaking. This piece captures that emotion.

10. Hold On To Life (3:17)
This piece is meant to inspire you to keep going. Don''t give up. Especially on life. Hold on to it. You only get one chance at it. I once received an e-mail from a woman who''s son was deployed overseas to Iraq to fight in the war. She wrote to tell me that at one point he felt like giving up on life. Didn''t want to go on anymore. Somehow, he found this song on iTunes and listened to it - over and over again. It helped to give him the strength he needed to keep going. And he did. Every time I checked the status of how many times my songs were played over the internet, I would constantly see that song being played at least once a day. I''d like to think it was that soldier... getting ready to tackle another day... holding on to life.

11. Wayback Theme (3:25)
If you like to read, I highly recommend a great book which was written by my college roommate, Sam Batterman. It''s called "Wayback" and I won''t spoil the book by giving away anything about it. But after I read it, I was inspired to write a theme based on the novel. When Sam launched his web site to promote his book, (https://www.tradebit.com) he used this theme as the opening music for the home page. Visit the site. Listen to the music. Then buy the book!

12. The Last Goodbye (3:06)
Back in the early 90''s, when I was dating Julie, we used to visit each other every 3 months or so. I would fly from New Jersey to Florida just to be with her for a week or so. We had a blast just being with each other. Then I would have to say goodbye and go back home. That heart-wrenching feeling was almost unbearable. Then Julie would come to visit me for a while, and then inevitably she would have to go back home. We were separated again by 900 miles. These visits were amazing, but brief. I finally couldn''t take it anymore and decided that Julie and I had said our last goodbye. So I packed up everything and moved down to Florida so we could be with each other all the time.

13. On My Own (4:11)
Ahh, yes. The title song. Although the title of this album is "On My Own", I certainly could not have completed this project on my own. I thank God for the talent He has given me. I thank my wife, Julie, for her undying love
and inspiration. And I thank my friends and family who believed in me more than I believed in myself. My dream is becoming a reality. I believe now, more than ever, that with God all things are possible.

This CD is proof.
