DeMonte Talks about himself and his music:
DeMonte Lamonz Ousley was born September 26, 1967 in Tulsa, Ok. I started out as part of a rap trio called the "Taste Maker" in 1982. In 1985 my rap group was asked to be the opening act for 2 national recording groups; the DEELE (featuring a young Kenneth "Babyface" Edmons) and an all female group called Klamax. I started playing Keyboards in 1984 and all the songs I perform are writen and produced by myself.
In 1991 I started writing R&B songs and its been a joy to share my songs with any one who is willing to listen. The name of this production concept is E.Y.E.S. Exploring Your Essential Sounds. A family friend Charlie Wilson of the soul group "The Gap Band" told me to keep my music sincere and there is no better joy than to share good music with people you''ve never met.
I want to thank the following very important people: My 2 daughters Candice and Tara; My Siblings Marcita, Charmaine, Camilie, Trevin and Dominic; My aunts Judy, Freda, Charlesetta, Yvette. My uncles Mike, Ronnie, Ted, JD and Buddy
