What we were trying to achieve with this CD was to combine the old and the new. Taking pieces from the many influences we have had over the years, ( sounds, feels, instruments) and adding them to new compositions to create new ''classic songs''. We wanted the songs to sound fresh, but with a slightly familiar quality to them. Unlike many fusion albums, You should walk away with melodies and riffs stuck in your head after a single listen. For the most part I think we were successful, though there were a few self indulgent moments. We''ll let you be the judge . Enjoy! Carl
