Glampire was a performing and recording entity from 1996 – 2001. A cultural lexicon that combined Glam & Goth. In fact before GLAMPIRE those two categories were not hyphenated. Being one of the very first artists to use the internet as a form of promotion, GLAMPIRE attained world wide recognition from Radio TV Club DJs, and thousands of fans from word of mouth on the web. This culminated in a 2001 Jagermeister/ MP3 music contest win that saw GLAMPIRE take the top spot from votes around the world. Starting in 1996 with the debut CD The Beginning Of Terror ( J-Bird) through to 2001’s Heavy Blessings GLAMPIRE pushed musical and cultural boundaries as an independent artist.
The Heraldic Universe was the break through CD for GLAMPIRE. Released in 1999. This is the CD that made GLAMPIRE a cyber star long before Napster I Pods and digital downloads were the norm. The Heraldic Universe sews the seeds of the Glambient sound that would become famous in years to come. This disc contains the underground smash hits My Own God and the jagermeister/MP3 contests winning song Shake Me Take Me Make Me.
