MP3 John B. deHaas - Crossing the Bridge

Relaxing acoustic piano compostions, played on a grand piano, Crossing the Bridge was inspired by my time in Virginia in the mid 1990''s. From soothing to soulful, each track will relieve the stress of a busy day and take your mind on a retreat. Enjoy!

Details:
I recorded this CD in the summer of 1995 at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. All of the songs were recorded in one take! I did this for 2 reasons: I am easily inspired and usually do my best work under pressure, and I was paying the recording engineer by the hour!

The cd was released that fall and sold to friends and family and thru the mail. At the time, there was no such thing as downloads or iTunes! I also send out several copies to various new age labels.

In the summer of 1996, I was invited by NARADA Media to appear on a compilation entitled "First Light: Piano Solos."

Since this cd''s release, I have written and recorded two additional CD''s: "Still" and "Home."

Feel free to pick these up or download as well.
